You can view all 500 photos of 'Today's Flickr Explore', but all other photo streams are limited to 50 photos. There are other limitations on this free version detailed below, which can be unlocked with a one time in-app purchase (or just buy the PRO version).

REQUIREMENTS
An internet connection is required to connect to Flickr. Please be aware that it could generate a lot of traffic, so we recommend running it over WiFi. When using a 3G connection your service provider may compress the images making them appear lower quality

This product uses FlickKit (https://github.com/devedup/FlickrKit) and the Flickr API but is not endorsed or certified by Flickr.

Version History We're laying the groundwork for a big update to Galleryr. This release includes behind-the-scenes improvements to get us there. 2.4.2 Oct 5 If you updated from an earlier version of galleryr, your photo quality setting may have dropped one size, for example from Large 1024 to Medium 800. FlickrGallery is back with a big update for the latest iPads and iPadOS.

Sign-in
• A new, more secure Flickr sign-in that uses the system sign-in sheet, with password AutoFill
• Cancelling sign-in and trying again now works without restarting the app
• Signing out now fully clears your account from the app

Fixes for the latest iPadOS
• Fixed crashes when signing out and when error messages were shown
• Fixed several crashes and freezes that happened while browsing and loading photos

Better on every iPad
• The map now fills the screen on all iPad sizes
• The photo carousel and side bar no longer sit under the Home indicator or overlap each other
• The photo grid now lays out correctly after you rotate your iPad
• Comments display cleanly, without stray formatting tags or cut-off text

Browsing
• Picking up where you left off in your history now opens the right photo
• No more duplicate photos when you scroll through long streams

* Updated Flickr domain for photos, which improves speed of photo download and fixes errors with newer photo sizes not loading as they're on Flickr's new servers. 2.3.0 04/25/2020 Updated the sharing capabilities. It now uses the built in iOS sharing controls.

This was due to the fallback mechanism of the app - i.e. if the image of the resolution you want doesn't exist on Flickr, the app should fallback to the next best resolution. Instead it was just showing Flickr's not available page and not falling back. I partly blame Flickr for renaming their default error page, which was how I was detecting a none existent image!
